DEFCON DAY 7/22/06 - THE ALLEY BAR & GRILL

Well, this is now our third appearance at The Alley, and the turnout seems to get bigger each time. This time was no exception. We had many chilihead bloggers come from 6 different states to be present at the DEFCON Day.

GAME ON!  The Defense Condition #2 wing-eating competition. Object was to devour 35 wings in 3 minutes. It was done in a little under 3 minutes.

The Defense Condition #1 competition. Object was to devour 20 wings in 3 minutes. The gentleman in the hat, who is obviously in DEFCON Ecstasy, did it in 1:48 minutes. A new DEFCON record!

I'm still wondering what is going through the minds of these individuals, whose masochistic tendencies have brought them to the edge of unbearable pain. The look on the spectators faces speaks for itself.

And now, a true chilihead who made his pilgrimage to DEFCON Day all the way from Indiana, the WINNER of the first DEFCON DEATHMATCH, and his glorious prizes. As you can see, he is still under the influence of endorphins.
